The picture on the left is the  300-400 Block of Main St. in Argenta, Downtown, North Little Rock, Arkansas. Up and down this three  block area of Main Street you will find restaurants and businesses such as Cornerstone Pub and Grill, Cregeen’s Irish Pub, Reno’s Argenta Cafe’, Ristorante Capeo, Starving Artist Cafe’, The Joint Comedy Club, Mug’s Café and Crush Wine Bar. You will also find Argenta’s Farmers Market on Saturday mornings through the end of October. All these businesses on Main Street are conveniently located near Trolley Stops on the River Rail Trolley line. The trolleys actually spend the night in the Trolley Barn behind the Farmers Market at 6th and Main.

While visiting Argenta you should also check a few of the art galleries in the area. This part of town is also called the Argenta Arts District. Every third Friday night of each month from 6-8  pm the art galleries stay open for these 3rd Friday Night Art Walks. There are also artist in booths on Main Street during these art walks.

While on Main Street in Argenta  you don’t want to miss a visit to  Galaxy Furniture located in the old historic JC Penny store at 304 Main Street. This store is right in the middle of all the restaurants and is full of eclectic items: retro furniture, vintage furniture, office furniture, collectibles, hand made glass, pottery and iron work—not to mention thousands of other unusual items—and tons of old-style vinyl record albums. The Trolley passes by the store and  their are two Trolley Stops nearby on Main Street.
