When I was just getting started with the arkansasfunguide.us blog, I was stopped by a group of people who were visiting Little Rock from out-of-state. They might have been from Ohio or some place back east. Anyway, they had just come from the River Market Hall that had closed at 6 pm. They said to me, “What is there to do around here?” We talked for a few minutes, and I gave them a few recommendations of places to eat and to go.

This started me to thinking about creating a calendar of some of the things that were going on in the downtown area. Looking online there were already some good calendars with current information. I thought to myself there was no reason to reinvent the wheel. So, I put together a few of my favorite calendar links and created convenient calendar links page. If you look at the top of the blog, you will see a link to this page called “Arkansas Fun Guide Calendars”

I hope you will find the links on this page as useful as I do. Each one of these links has there own unique perspective. If you take few minutes to look at some of them, or all of them, they will give you a pretty good idea of what is going on in downtown Little Rock and North Little Rock. If you are interested in some fun things to do on a day trip, I also put a couple links to Hot Springs and Heber Springs calendars. There is also a link to all the festivals and events all over Arkansas. Another good thing about these links is that they are dynamic, and they will change everyday. So, when you come back tomorrow or next week, they will still be up-to-date.
