Pops on the River, is Arkansas’ largest Fourth of July celebration and takes in downtown Little Rock. Pops on the River, in it’s 30th year, is FREE to the public and continues the tradition of a fireworks show highlighted by the music from the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra. Pops on the River is a family-friendly event that is located in the heart of downtown Little Rock on the banks of the Arkansas River.

The event has grown in recent years to include other activities in the River Market such as a Kid’s Pavilion (sponsored by Arkansas Children’s Hospital) that features free activities and fun for kids which begin at noon. Other attractions include the Chevy Car Pavilion where you can see the latest lines of Chevy cars and truck; the Pops Classic Car Show that features our top 10 picks of classic cars; a marketplace of vendors for shopping and of course, food trucks.

Pops on the River activities inside the First Security Amphitheater gates will begin at 5:30. The Oh Say! Can You Sing? Top 5 finalists will perform in addition to the Happy Tymes Jazz Band. The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra will close out the night with a beautiful performance.

The fireworks show, which will be 30 minutes this year to celebrate the 30th anniversary, will take place approximately 9:30.
